Northwest High School art classes and clubs participate in art events around the community.
The River Fest Youth Art Show is a juried show, that starts the first week of September 2019. Submissions are due at the end of August and are limited to two works per student.

CEMC calendar art competition: I will post more information when I know the specifics. You should know that any work you submit becomes the property of CEMC, whether or not your work is used in the calendar.
The Google Doodle is an annual competition. The prizes are great and, considering that this is a national competition, there aren't a huge number of submissions to compete against.

Clarksville-Montgomery County Public Library-
- The Sci-Fi Expo We do Sci-Fi themed landscapes in Art 1 - a fun show!
- Youth Art Month is April; this is an exhibit of artwork from all the schools in the county.
L & N Train Station Gallery. Clarksville Arts & Heritage Development Council sponsors a monthlong show for each district high school.
